Custom Surface Finishing
Services
Elevate your CNC machined and fabricated parts. Huade Precision offers a complete suite of in-house surface treatments to enhance aesthetics, increase durability, and provide critical environmental protection.
Why Surface Finishing Matters
Environmental Protection
Raw metals naturally degrade in service. Processes like Anodizing, Passivation, E-Coating, Powder Coating, and Black Oxide improve resistance to corrosion, moisture, chemicals, and wear.
Mechanical Performance
Enhance real part performance. Electroplating, Knurling, Polishing, and Passivation can improve grip, conductivity, cleanliness, corrosion behavior, and assembly function.
Cosmetic Excellence
Refine the final look with Sandblasting, Brushed finishes, Spray Paint, Silk Screening, and Laser Etching so your parts look as premium and production-ready as they perform.
Our Finishing Catalog
Select a specific surface treatment below to learn more about our tolerances, color options, design guidelines, and material compatibility.
Anodizing
Enhance corrosion resistance and surface hardness. Available in Type II (Decorative/Colors) and Type III (Hardcoat) strictly following MIL-A-8625 standards.
View SpecsElectroplating
Improve corrosion resistance, conductivity, solderability, and wear performance with engineered plated finishes such as nickel, zinc, chrome, tin, silver, and gold.
View SpecsPolishing
Mechanical and hand polishing services for metals and plastics. Achieve anything from a smooth satin sheen to a flawless, highly reflective mirror finish.
View SpecsBrushed
Create a consistent directional grain on aluminum, stainless steel, and decorative metal components for a refined technical and premium industrial appearance.
View SpecsKnurling
Add functional grip, press-fit retention, and a crisp machined texture to knobs, shafts, caps, and hand-adjusted cylindrical components.
View SpecsSilk Screening
Print logos, text, icons, scales, and interface graphics onto coated, anodized, metal, and plastic surfaces with durable visual contrast.
View SpecsE-Coating
Apply a thin, highly uniform electrophoretic coating to improve corrosion resistance and edge coverage on complex metal geometries.
View SpecsBlack Oxide
A chemical conversion coating for steel and stainless steel. It adds zero measurable thickness, making it the perfect anti-glare finish for precision gears and threads.
View SpecsPowder Coating
Industrial-grade protection. Applied electrostatically and oven-cured to provide extreme durability. Available in standard RAL colors, sand, and wrinkle textures.
View SpecsSandblasting
Create a uniform matte texture, reduce visible machining marks, and prepare parts for follow-up finishing such as anodizing, coating, or cosmetic assembly.
View SpecsSpray Paint
Apply custom colors and controlled gloss levels to prototype and production parts for cosmetic enhancement, branding alignment, and general surface protection.
View SpecsPassivation
Remove free iron contamination and strengthen the passive layer on stainless steel parts to improve corrosion resistance after machining or fabrication.
View SpecsLaser Etching
Create permanent logos, serial numbers, QR codes, scales, and traceability marks on anodized, coated, metal, and finished production parts.

Finishing FAQs
Can I combine multiple surface finishes?
Yes, combining finishes is common. For example, parts are often Sandblasted or Brushed first for cosmetic consistency, then followed by Anodizing, Spray Paint, Silk Screening, or Laser Etching depending on the final functional and visual goals.
Will surface finishing alter the dimensions of my part?
Yes, many finishes affect the final surface condition. Coatings like Powder Coating, Spray Paint, E-Coating, and Electroplating add material, while mechanical finishes like Polishing, Sandblasting, Brushing, and Knurling alter the surface topography. Black Oxide and Passivation typically create little to no measurable buildup.
Do you provide standalone finishing services?
We primarily offer surface finishing as an integrated service for parts we CNC machine or fabricate in-house. This allows us to guarantee the strict tolerances and quality control from raw material to final component.
